What is a squeeze day?
A squeeze day (Swedish: klämdag) is a regular working day squeezed between a public holiday and another day off, such as a weekend. Taking vacation on a squeeze day often gives you four or more consecutive days off – for a single vacation day.
How to maximize your vacation
The biggest payoff comes around Easter, Ascension Day, Midsummer, Christmas and New Year. Combine public holidays with weekends and place your vacation days on the working days in between.
